Last blog post

This is my last blog post, I am doing it to thank all of the teachers that have taught me and all of the relievers. I have made some new friends I my class this year, the thing that I have enjoyed this year the most was the mud run, Rainbows End. I have also loved playing with the year fives who I will not see next year.

If I was the principal Owairaka school for one week The first thing that I would change would be that there should be chairs in the hall at assemblies all the time, and that the assemblies should be much shorter.

This is my paper plane investigation, It is me and James making planes of different sizes and see which one goes the furthest distance. Hope you like it.

3D shapes

This is my 3D shapes, they are questions about shapes and seeing how many edges it has and how many corners and if it rolls. I enjoyed doing this because I got to get 3D shapes in real life and I have no idea why I enjoy that. BYE!

Baaa goes the sheep, BAAAAAAA the sheep has spotted a colourful ball up ahead in the paddock so he goes to it It's a balloon the sheep think that red balloons look tasty, so he eats it, and then he starts to feel dizzy. Its almost like he's floating, WAIT he IS floating up he goes into the sky, but wait farmer Joe grabs the string and yanked it down and gives the sheep a shake so that the balloon pops. It pops and then the sheep is saved! the end.

Week 8 writing

My brother and I really like planes, but we have never been on one before, the one place that I have always wanted to go to is New Zealand. I've seen photos It looks amazing! I always look at times that the flights are on so that I can look outside my bedroom window and watch the massive metal structure zoom though the early morning sky. One day I heard my parents talking about the hole family going to New Zealand for a trip. I got so excited. The next day they told me and my brother that we were going, and then the week after it was time to go to the airport, we went inside and waited... and waited.... for a long time, so far this is not fun...... AND THEN mum said that our plane is here I jumped up out of my seat and shouted out YIPPY! We were heading towards the plane and then the door closed with our parents inside without us so me and my brother tried to stand on the wing of the plane so that we could smash a window and get in. Then the plane took off with me and my brother still sitting on the wing! The plane just got into the sky if I jumped off now I would die, so we sit on the wing looking at the white fluffy clouds. Suddenly someone looks through their window and stares at us,. By now the plane has been flying in the air for a long time. Then a head peers through a hatch on the top of the plane and it says to us GET IN so me and my brother are about to climb in when we see land! It's New Zealand! we climb in and get out of the plane when it lands and explore New Zealand.

Why Sir Edmund Hillary has changed the world

Sir Edmund Hillary has change the world because he was the first ever human to climb the summit of mount Everest. Edmund was born on 20th of July 1919 New Zealand. Edmund and a man called Tenzing Norgay reached the summit May 29th 1953, It took them seven weeks to get from the bottom of the mountain to the top. Edmund died on the 11th of January 2008, he died at the age of 88. Because Edmund did such a brave life threatening thing he got knighted by the queen of England and he is now on the five dollar note for New Zealand. Edmund got lots of money for doing this, but he did not spend all of it on himself, he made schools for people who needed to learn, got food for people in need.
Edmund will be remembered forever for what he has done.

Day:1 poster of made up words.

This is my 5 made up words for day one of the Summer Learning Journey, I actually did 6 words but that does not matter. I found this pretty easy because all I had to do was think of a made up word and then think of any meaning for it. This was pretty fun, I enjoyed having to think of really weird words and learning how to say them. Hope you like it.

This is my 2D face it took a long time to do because I tried to to other things but they did not work so I did this one which took about 2 minutes.

The Tunnel

Walking though the 1000000,00000000000 year old tunnel every step I take takes me one step closer to going through a secret portal of time going back into the past to save my dog from getting run over by a car. 
I can see the portal up in the distance, it looks very cool and majestic. I am just about five meters away from the portal now and then I go through...
Everything looks so old and broken after all the second world war had just happened I the place where my dog got run over and I see him fluffy the bulldog, I shout out "Fluffy! Fluffy! Fluffy" but he can't hear me, why? Oh I know why because I am not supposed to be here I go to him and pick him up I can pick him up but he can't hear me. I turn around and I see a old car coming right towards me I dodge to the right and avoid the car and I look on my watch and and the portal should be closing in 10 SECONDS! I run to the portal and quickly jump in it, with Fluffy we both just make it out I look at fluffy and he's so old I through some food to Fluffy and he does not jump up catch it he just stays still until the food hits the ground of course! He's old! but he is still my cute fluffy dog.
