Week 7 writing

Summoning the fire lord from the circle of flames takes years and It has finally come to the last few seconds 3,2,1... nothing? I’ve been doing this for 5 years saying stupid words to summon the fire lord and nothing happens! Now all of my furniture is falling into the circle! Could it get any worse? YES it could now I am getting sucked into the circle of fire! Then I get sucked in and the next thing I know I am sitting on the fire lords throne and I HAVE A BEARD just like the fire lords one! Am i the fire lord? And then the real fire lord comes through the door. I did not do this but my body just made me shoot fire out of my hands right at the fire lord. And from then on I was the fire lord.

The Start Of A New Beginning

I'm a cute little baby turtle only just coming out of my clean white shell getting ready to burst my way out of It and head straight for the water. But there's something that might stop me from getting to the water. Birds, pesky birds, taking all of my friends life's as soon as they are born.
I burst my way out and scatter my way to the water birds are swooping down at me trying to scoop me up in their mouths.
I dodge left, I dodge right, and I'm in the water swimming for my life, I am so sad that all of my friends are dying right in front of my eyes so I turn around and swim, out to sea, 20 years later when all of the other baby turtles are hatching I swim to the shore and protect all of the other baby turtles because the birds can't pick me up.
THE END. 

The Time Traveller

It is the year 1780 and I am walking down the shabby wet streets of Auckland with my hat and my bushy rain coat on. My sister always tries to do the same thing that I do and she tries to beat me to whatever I am doing. I have come to this year to save my dog who died from getting hit by a car and I must stop it from happening. I look at my watch to see when it happens I have five minutes until it happens, and I will get there in about three.
I finally reach my destination. Wait until I see my fluffy white dog for the first time in, like 150 years! I go to grab my dog But for some reason he is not there. Where is Fluffy I thought to myself?
That was my only chance to save my dog my dog and it is now gone! I go back home to the year 2019 and break the bad news to my sister but when I knock on the door with my cold knuckles I hear some which sounds a bit like Bark bark! My sister opens the door and says I beat you to it for the first time! YES!
THE END!

The Deep

Opening my humongous mouth so that I can inhale some small delicious fish.
I can see above me a creature with NO FINS and no gills
What could it be? Oh yes now I remember what they are called "humans". So I slowly inch my way to the human and say hello and they just say nothing.
They must not want to seem to talk, so I carry on swimming and then I see a big grey SHARK so I huff and I puff and I ROAR so that the shark gets scared and swims away. YAY I saved my pet human. The next day I get some food for my pet and then they are nowhere to be seen! They must not like me.
THE END
The moral of the story is to not keep a stray animal as a pet because they will swim off.

Green week

This is my green week Genail.ly for plastic, they are some questions about what will happen if there is too much plastic and what we can do to stop plastic from going in the water.

The Great Drain Game

Today me and my class went to the hall to learn about drains and were things go after we do them like showering, having some water, were does the water from that go to?
We got to do three activities they were VR, locating were the drains are at Owairaka School are, and a scaled model of a town and showing were things go after we do them.

VR

The VR was really really cool because we got to see some stuff like were things go if we put them in the wrong place. The VR was divided into two parts one the VR the other one about wetlands,
"The quality of the VR was not that good"
But it was still a really amazing experience.
We got to see the difference of clean non polluted water and polluted water.
I learned to put the right stuff in the right place.

Locating drains at Owairaka School.

Another activity was finding drains at out school.
We walked around most of the school marking down on a peace of paper were the drains are.
I found 21 drains.
Most of the drains had leaves in them and that's not good
I learned were drains are at school

Scaled model of water waste treatment plant.

This activity was about were our stuff goes when we put it down the toilet, down the drain, in the sink, or in the rubbish bin.
There were lots of bottles with something dirty in it,
then we had to show were that should go, I got baby wipes so then I had to choose if they go in the drain, the rubbish bin, the sink, or the toilet.
I chose the rubbish bin because that's were baby wipes go.

Wetlands.

This one was the wetlands,
we put dirty water into the bottle and It magically came out the other end more clean! It was really interesting.
I learned that wetlands make flood dirty water more clean and It stops the water from coming to towns.

My chart

This is my two charts one is a pie chart and one is a normal graph, It is about what is the favourite sport from Owairaka School members. I found this kind of easy but asking lots of people was the hard and boring part BYE!🐢🐢🐢

Athletics

Yesterday it was athletics day, we did five events they were high jump, long jump, shot put, discus and running. It was a really really hot day so it was hard to stay focused, we walked to Lovelock track from school and then got straight into it.

My writing for week 4

After a long war finally over me and my best friend can finally have some fun just by ourselves, I like having peace and quiet but this is too quiet and we have to get to the visitor so that he can turn our land back to proper land! Which is GREEN. But it is a long way.

We have finally reached the Visitor who can turn out land to green.

But when we get to where he should be he is not there?

Have we gone to the wrong place?

I know I will call him to see where he is.

Ring Ring Ring “Hello” “Hi Visitor it’s me elphant, I was just wondering where you are, you said you will be right where I am now”

“Oh yeah I forgot” “you forgot” “Yup” “so now I have to  walk all the way back! “Yup” “but that will take about 708 years

We are still walking to the visitor and so far it has taken 708 years and we have evolved into I think they are called humans?

But I think that we are finally here now the visitor can turn our land green “visitor we are here would you please turn our land to green”?

“Yup” “OK do it then” “yup” “are you saying yup to everything that we say” “yup” so after that the visitor turned their land back to green, everyone was happy!
